What Is CT17 Primer 10L Used For?
CERESIT® CT17 Profi Primer 10L is a solvent-free, deep penetrating primer for absorbent indoor and outdoor substrates. It is designed to strengthen the surface, reduce absorbency, and improve adhesion before applying further finishing layers.
CT17 Primer is suitable for walls, floors, and ceilings, including concrete, cement-based screeds, traditional plasters, renders, and other absorbent mineral surfaces. It helps prevent substrates from drawing moisture too quickly from adhesives, levelling compounds, fillers, putties, paints, and other finishing materials.
This makes CERESIT CT17 useful before fixing ceramic tiles, applying floor finishes, plastering, rendering, painting, wallpapering, or carrying out general surface preparation. It is especially helpful on porous or dusty substrates where better surface stability is needed before the next layer is applied.
