What Is CT84 Express Plus Used For?
CERESIT® CT84 Express Plus is a fast polyurethane foam adhesive used for fixing insulation boards in external wall insulation and façade systems. It is designed for bonding EPS, XPS and mineral wool boards as part of CERESIT Ceretherm ETICS systems.
CT84 Express Plus is a practical alternative to traditional cement-based adhesives when speed matters. It allows faster board fixing, helps reduce waiting time on site, and is especially useful when working in lower temperatures where cement adhesives need longer to dry.
The adhesive can be applied to a wide range of common construction substrates, including concrete, ceramic brick, wood, OSB boards, bitumen, glass, coated and galvanised sheet metal, dry cellular concrete and plasterboard. Its low-expansion formula helps keep insulation boards stable after fixing.
CT84 Express Plus is also suitable for renovation work and layered fixing of insulation boards, including ETICS-on-ETICS applications where compatible systems are used. Supplied in an 850ml can, it is easy to apply with a suitable foam gun and supports efficient installation on residential and commercial insulation projects.
