K Rend Primer TC is a ready to use primer which is quick and easy to apply by brush, roller or spray. It is available in a wide range of colours which are co-ordinated to the colour of Silicone TC or Mineral TC topcoats. Primer TC should be used after the application of K Rend Base Coat and before Silicone TC or Mineral TC.

K Rend Reinforcing Mesh 1x50m

K REND TC15

K Rend TC15 is a self-coloured render and can be hand or spray applied. It is a ready to use organic resin render which is applied to provide a low maintenance textured finish. It is also available in different textures (TC 05, TC 10 & TC 30) and a wide variety of colours. Prior to application the substrate should be primed using Primer TC.

K Rend UF Base Coat

K Rend Standard UF base coat is a high, general purpose render, for use over medium density blockwork as a primary coat for K Rend finishes, and is applied by hand or spray.

Approx Consumption

5mm Thickness: 8.5kg per m2
10mm Thickness: 17kg per m2
15mm Thickness: 25.5kg per m2
20mm Thickness: 34kg per m2

Supplied in 25kg bags.

K Rend R7 Acrylic Primer 5L

K Rend R7 Acrylic is a primer used to go onto difficult substrates such as brick in preparation for our K Rend HP 12/HPX Base Coat which is applied whilst the R7 is still tacky. R7 Acrylic can be applied using a roller or by hand. This modified acrylic emulsion is used to improve the adhesion of K Rend renders to difficult substrates where the background does not provide sufficient key or has poor suction characteristics. The material is usually diluted before use.

Dilute K Rend R7 Acrylic by pouring the material into clean drinking water. For most applications, a dilution of 1 part K Rend R7 Acrylic to 4 parts water is recommended. Site trials should be carried out to determine the optimum dosage rate

HP12 Base Coat – K REND

HP12 Base Coat can be hand or machine applied. It uses ‘High Polymer’ technology for an enhanced performance on difficult substrates such as render carrier boards, dense block, unpainted render and brickwork (providing K Rend R7 Primer is used in conjunction with this). It is ideal as a stipple coat or for dense backgrounds and has increased water resistance and adhesion. Incorporation of Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh may be required at stress points such as door and window reveals. HP12 Base Coat can be used in conjunction with all K Rend finishes including Scraped Texture, Thin Coat, Dash, Roughcast and Brick Rend.
