SOLID tile levelling clips 1mm help hold neighbouring tiles at a consistent level while the adhesive cures. This tub contains 400 orange standard clips, product reference 6465. Use them with compatible SOLID wedges and a suitable levelling tool as part of your tile installation.
Choose the correct clip
This version is marked for a 1mm joint. The packaging identifies the standard clip as suitable for tile thicknesses from 4mm to 15mm. Check the actual tile thickness and the required joint specification before choosing the clip. Different joint widths and high clips are separate versions of the system.
Levelling clips help manage the relationship between adjacent tile edges. They do not correct an unsuitable background or replace the adhesive coverage needed behind the tiles. Prepare the surface and select the adhesive and trowel according to the tile and adhesive manufacturers’ instructions.

During installation
Place the clip base beneath the tile edge as directed by the system instructions. Position the neighbouring tile, insert a compatible wedge and tension it carefully. Check the tile alignment as you work, avoiding excessive force that could damage the clip or disturb the adhesive bed.
Plan the number of clips according to tile size and the layout of the installation. Keep enough clips and compatible wedges available for the area you intend to complete before the adhesive begins to set.
Removal and storage
Allow the adhesive to cure for the time required by its manufacturer before removing the exposed clip sections. Follow the levelling system’s removal method and direction, then check and clear the joints before grouting. Keep unused clips dry in their labelled packaging so the thickness and model remain identifiable.
