Cracks and other damage can appear around these stress points and the Corner Beads make sure that durability is maintained.

Ceresit CT327 is a high-performance glass fibre mesh for embedding into base coat mortars within ETICS insulation systems. Known as the “panzer mesh”, it is ideal for facades exposed to mechanical stress, impact, or increased structural load.

This alkali-resistant, slip-proof and tear-resistant mesh strengthens the façade by creating a tough, flexible reinforcement layer when embedded in compatible adhesives like Ceresit CT85 FLEX or ZU Adhesive.

Mesh is applied vertically into fresh base coat mortar with 10 cm overlaps at joints, then fully covered. CT327 is embedded into the upper third of the mortar layer to improve tensile strength and resist cracking, especially in high-traffic or corner zones.
