What Is Ceresit CT85 FLEX Used For?
CERESIT® CT85 FLEX is a flexible adhesive and base coat mortar used for bonding EPS and XPS insulation boards. It’s also ideal for embedding reinforcing mesh within ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems).
This product is well suited for both new builds and renovation projects. Thanks to its flexibility and impact resistance, CT85 FLEX is a great option for façades exposed to thermal movement or vibrations. In addition, its vapour-permeable formula allows walls to breathe while still protecting against weather conditions.
Moreover, it is easy to apply manually or with a machine. The mortar offers strong adhesion and durability, making it perfect for insulation systems that require long-lasting performance. Once cured, it creates a reinforced base that is ready for decorative finishing coats, such as silicone or acrylic render.
