- Next, drill a perpendicular hole matching your chosen shank diameter (8mm or 10mm) straight through the insulation layer and into the wall substrate. Ensure the hole depth is 10mm longer than the fixing penetration.
- Subsequently, clear debris out of the hole by cycling the drill bit twice.
