Before making a mark
Check the measurement and the position of the line before you start. Test the ink in an inconspicuous area when working on a new surface, especially where the mark may remain visible after installation. Keep important identification marks away from areas that will be cut off or covered during the next stage of work.
Use a ruler, square or other suitable guide where you need a straight or accurately located line. Allow the ink to dry before handling the marked area, and recheck the position before cutting, drilling or fixing.
Care and storage
Replace the cap securely after use to protect the tip and help prevent the ink drying out. Keep the marker away from excessive heat and avoid crushing it beneath heavy tools.
